Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Our managers set the standard for service, and will train, support and coach our staff to ensure excellent results. Our managers help to set operational goals which will meet or exceed our cost center budgets, and then use current systems, schedules and tools to attain those goals.

The manager, along with the chef and owners is responsible for ensuring food quality, consistency and plate presentation, as well as maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary working environment. Our managers conduct daily line checks, manage expediting, and correct any food or beverage problems before they reach the guest.

Job Description:

Required Skills:

  • Must have strong leadership skills & a track record of success
  • Must be able to think on your feet
  • Resolve guest and staff issues efficiently
  • Knowledge of restaurant POS systems
  • Day to day FOH management operations
  • Proficient at Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Ability to open/close
  • Must be available to work the evening shift 6 nights per week, open or close
  • Must be reliable, dependable and motivated

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years restaurant management experience in an upscale or fine-dining environment

Train under the wings of Executive Chef Jonathon Harootunian​, Chicago Tribune 3 star rated chef.  One thing Chef loves to do is to mentor passionate newcomers…to give back to the trade what was once given to him.  We are offering internships/externships at different times throughout the year.  So bring in your resume and ask for Chef Jon himself.

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited culinary school
  • Must have passion for from scratch cooking
  • Must be open and willing to learn new things
  • Must have basic knife handling and food sanitary knowledge
  • Must have food handler certificate

Harvest Room offers from scratch cocktails made with unique recipes and interesting spirits. We are looking for a bartender who has had experience with craft cocktails and takes pride in making everything from scratch. Will help to create at least 1 cocktail per month… we are looking for a motivated and creative person!! Previous experience with liquor inventory is a plus. Hourly wage starts at $9.00 plus tips
